RoseMary has lived in east London since 1975 when she came to study at Queen Mary University of London. She graduated in mathematics and went into computing, most recently working as a business analyst. Always involved in social justice and environment issues, RoseMary has been an active member of Waltham Forest and Redbridge Green Party for several years, as well as serving as secretary and membership team member of the London Green Party..
Campaigns that RoseMary has continued to be active in include: saving the A&E at King George Hospital, and saving the Oakfields playing fields from redevelopment. She has also collected signatures for a petition to City Airport against the concentration of flight paths.
RoseMary Warrington states: "Many of the problems that people face are due to insufficient decent and genuinely affordable housing. Governments have allowed this to happen though both the loss of social housing due to the Right to Buy and not permitting councils to build replacements.”
We urgently need to replace the broken politics of the past with a green future that works.
